Le Peep Boutique

This sound, lighting and video installation project saw NKN work closely with the Nick Leith Smith design team to create an authentic 1920s art deco experience for Le Peep Boutique, a private members club on Park Lane.

The project gave our team the opportunity to showcase both their creative and technical skills, integrating complicated architectural lighting, club lighting and video installations to create a unique atmosphere.

Even the automated lighting units, a familiar sight in most clubs, were dressed to appear as wrought iron street lights in keeping with the art deco theme.

Mimi's

NKN were commissioned by Mimi’s – a private member’s bar in London’s Fitzrovia district – to design and implement sound and lighting that would provide the optimal balance between chilled out after-work cocktail bar and exclusive late-night club.

Working to this venue installation brief, we used a minimalist approach to visible technology, instead opting for hidden LED lighting within the décor and architecture itself.

To further create a low-key yet high-class ambience with this sound and lighting installation, we used speakers and automated lighting which were low-profile yet powerful and of high quality.

NKN regularly work with world-recognised brand names on installation projects for high-profile offices and venues. For this AV installation we were tasked with creating a vibrant, innovative and stylish feature for the reception area of software producer Microsoft Studios.

In working to this brief, we installed a bespoke reception island wall and ceiling video grid, utilising VC-grid technology from Martin by Harman.

As a Preferred systems Integrating Partner of Harman, we worked closely with them to ensure the video tile system was installed and programmed to a tight deadline on a busy site.

NKN worked with exclusive Mayfair nightspot The Cuckoo Club to create a state-of-the-art audio-visual setup that would match and enhance the mood created by the club’s unique art and interior design.

We have worked with The Cuckoo Club throughout several refurbishment phases, and have been able to lend our fresh and innovative ideas to the extravagant décor created by the venue’s design teams.
